An update from Stephen Brighton, our Managing Director

Following the Government announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 regarding a new lockdown from 5th January, I wanted to outline how we will be there to help keep you, our customers moving while working within the guidance laid out by Government.

From today, the 5th January, our Service and Parts departments will operate as normal as they have been for many months in a safe manner, by appointment only.

Currently our showrooms and external used car display areas will not be open to the public from 5th January until further notice. Whilst the showrooms will be closed however, we will be on hand to continue with car sales remotely Monday - Friday. Many transactions are already carried out remotely and our website has the facility to reserve any of our used cars online. This did prove beneficial to our customers during the last lockdown in November, and continued in the weeks that followed. Finance agreements can now also be signed remotely. You will still be able to collect a car which has been purchased either online or via the telephone, directly from the dealership but the handover will need to be outside - so please bring a coat!

All vehicle handovers can take place from an exterior handover area, with full social distancing practices in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety. In certain cases, home delivery can be offered but again, would be completed outside.

Our Service and Parts departments will remain fully operational for servicing, MOT, repairs, parts & accessories using the procedures, we already have in place; Social distancing measures, an appointment-only system, sanitising stations, protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments have been in place for several months now.

Our message to you is that “We are open for business” but for sales, please don’t visit the dealership. Instead, contact us via email, phone or through our website.
