An update from Stephen Brighton, our Managing Director

Following the Government announcement on Saturday 31st October regarding a new lockdown from 5th November, I wanted to outline how we will be there to help keep you, our customers moving while working within the guidance laid out by Government. We will be fully open as normal until the close of business on the 4th November 2020.

From the 5th November, our Service and Parts departments will operate as normal as they have been for many months in a safe manner, by appointment only.

Currently our showrooms and external used car display areas will not be open to the public from 5th November until further notice. Whilst the showrooms will be closed however, we will be on hand to continue with car sales remotely Monday - Friday. Many transactions are already carried out remotely and our website has the facility to reserve any of our used cars online. You will still be able to collect a car which has been purchased either online or via the telephone, directly from the dealership but the handover will need to be outside - so please bring a coat!

All vehicle handovers can take place from an exterior handover area with full social distancing practices in place to ensure both colleague and customer safety. In certain cases, home delivery can be offered but again, would be completed outside.

Our Service and Parts departments will remain fully operational for servicing, MOT, repairs, parts & accessories using the procedures, we already have in place; Social distancing measures, an appointment-only system, protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments have been in place for several months now.

Our message to you is that “We are open for business” but for sales, please don’t visit the dealership. Instead, contact us via email, phone or through our website. For any sales enquiries, please email us on info@hepworthmotorgroup.com or telephone 01484 514541. Your sales enquiry will be responded to as quickly as possible by Mark or Neil.

We hope you all remain well during these challenging times and want to ensure your motoring requirements are looked after as smoothly as possible.

Stay safe.

Stephen Brighton
